Default Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car is smoking and making a squeaking noise, smoke is coming from the fan motor area then when I turned the car off coolant started coming out of the top. It's a 96 gt auto, I should just be able to replace the fan right.

Was the car overheating? Did the temp go up? If could be the fan, fan relay, the waterpump, or a thermostat.

Is there any coolant anywhere? You may have a crack in your lower intake manifold or radiator, I had the same problem. Check and see if you have any spray on the hood or anywhere. Then, with the hood popped, start the motor and hit the throttle manually from the throttle body. Look for anything spraying on that area. Let me know what happens.

Yes if you turn the AC on (even if it is 0 degrees outside) your car will turn on the fan to pull air through the radiator. I think it is a really good design as it makes sure your car does not overheat. You might want to check your thermistat. It could be sticking and make the car boil over or overheat.
