Sure. Go to a parts store and get this thing called a "tappafuse". It slips over one leg of a fuse in your fusebox and lets you plug a female conector into it. Then, run a wire from the FUSED side of the fuse to a toggle switch. Drill a hole under the dash somewhere that leads into the engine compartment (I did it on the drivers side, low on the left hand side) while making sure you don't drill into anything in the compartment. Then just run the wire out to the foglights.

sounds like work , i was hoping i could just cut a wire and be done, OK tho , any sugestions for what brand bulbs to get for my stock head lights? they are SOO dirty , i cleaned then with Kaboom and DRAINO , anything stronger to sugest that wont burn plastic? I would like after market ones but they look ricey and tacky. will 99+ fog lights fit??

They make some non rice aftermarket ones.

Also you can probably get the stockers from CJ pony parts.

I am pretty sure a 99-04 will not fit on a 97 but I could be wrong.

i think it just looks cool. it doesnt really have a purpose to me atleast. it also lets you use your fog lights when your brights are on.
