can anyone tell me how fast the stock GT clocks for the quarter mile run. i am getting my stang this week and just wanted a little knowledge before i eat up some ricers. please post real times. i found a site that said the GT does quarter mile stock in 14.10. let me know how accurate that time is.

04's with a 5 speed and the 3.55 rear end can clock 13.97-14.40 pending on driver .. 13.97 is the fastest i have seen one run on the pos factory rubber.. bf drag radials in back and you could hit mid 13's

have you ever run your car stock in the 1320 before your mods. if so, do you remember your time?

I guess it would depend on the year of the car (hp rating), automatic or 5 speed trans and any mods, of course. I have a '96, 5 speed mostly stock, with flowmasters and pulleys. My best was 14.7. Factory data says it should be around 15.1-15.2.

If it's an auto, you should expect a 14.1-14.6 run, if it's a manual, you can expect to see anywhere from around 14 flat to God knows how high. Just depends on how well you drive.

hey i just bought a stock 04 gt 5spd has 700 miles on it so far lol. all i put on is a k&n air filter i might take it to the track in the near future to see what it does stock. i also saw some numbers on the web and i think it only gets a 14.7 i dont know if i can drive it better than the perfesional that got that time but will see. it has a 3.27 rear end and the mach 1 has a 3.55. ive used some calculators and the car weighs 3317 with out a driver. the horse power is 260 stock and i think the flywheal horses are about 218. so those are the stock #s u guys mess with them and see what u think.

Flywheel hp is always greater than real wheel hp. I think you're confused a little. You take your fwhp and mutliply that by 16%-21%, take that number and subtract if from what you started with, that's your rwhp. Just read the post I posted above yours, that's what a stock 99+ GT will run. I don't know where you got the 14.7 with a pro driver, they will run better than that with a pro at the wheel. I'm sure lots of regular people have hit that number, but a pro better run better than that.
