i personally dont think getting ur stang an inch higher is gonna make a difference when it comes to snow drivng. just get the right size tire and make sure its good in the snow.

check out the Avon Tech M550 A/S tires. They are highly rated. I had them on this winter and my car drove better then my dads 330xi.

If you say they will fit I will give them a shot. Discount Tire said if they don't fit then I can opt for 215/55R16's. And for you other fellas that offered your help ,first every 1/2" your can get your car or truck up off the ground in Michigan for the winter is that much less snow you will be plowing with your front end. And for what is available in sizes 16 and 17 I don't want to buy another set of rims for $500.00 plus bucks just so I can get 17's, when I can get steel rims for $45.00 each w/ 16" rims just to drive thru the winter sense I am going to have to drive my Mustang year round. Thanks guys.

I bought them, tried them, and they did fit perfect just like you said they would, I measured things up and they lifted my car an extra inch off the ground (good for deep snow days). thanks for your advise.
