Default There are times...

There are times when you just have to think things over and maybe let go of things that mean most to you. In this case it maybe my mustang....

As it is right now I pay the following:

Car $370.00
Insurance $425.00
Gas $240.00 (might be lower if I had another car)
------------------------
Total $1035.00 a month

Plus other bills - its not looking good I tried my _hardest_ to lower expenses, but it just doesn't work out.

I just dunno how are things are going to work out even if I get another car. Right now I owe approx 14K left on the car, and plus I dunno what car to get that would be a good DD.

_Any_ suggestions... please......!

425 insurance a month!!!!!! How old are you?????

I'm 22 and mine is $175 a month, with a divorce, speeding, and parking ticket....

Whats your insurance company also? Whats you income to debt ratio? Don't give me exact figures but monthly mine is like 2 to 3. That means a two thirds of my monthly income goes to bills, investments, car, rent, misc spending, etc.

Ironically enough, I am 22 as well. I have NJM PAIP (state plan) cause I have a few accidents, 1 speeding ticket, and 1 careless driving ticket. Unfortunatley, looks like I have to stay under that plan for at least another 2 more years

To be honest, my ratio is more like 2.6 to 3. I have very little money left over, and that is being used for pay off my one credit card (want to get it down to no balance).

my wallet just screamed in pain and ran into the closet and won't come out after seeing $400+/month for insurance

I thought mine was insane at roughly $2200/year w/ two speeding tix.
