Professional Products Typhoon Manifold
"Typhoon Manifold for 4.6L 2V Mustang Professional Products new Typhoon intake system for the 4.6L Ford Mustang is a really sensational manifold. Developed in conjunction with one of the leading Mustang specialists, this manifold has been dyno proven to produce 23 more horsepower than a stock manifold at ,6300 rpm with similar increases all the way through the rpm range."
I know buyer beware about the number claiming, wasn't sure if anyone had any info on this? Doesn't sound to bad for 500 bucks or so. A lot better then paying 1k+ for headers that'd be getting the same output. Link below is to the manifold... any opinions?

crap.... not only is it metal, and metal gets hotter than hell, but fyi our engines pretty much stop making power at about 52-5500 rpm, im not sure where they are getting 6300 rpms from, bc our limiter is set for 5700. you will notice headers a hell of alot more than this crap intake. do a search on this site for other discuissions about it, everyone else has said pretty much the same

First off don't buy anything from RPMoutlet. I already went through this in another thread.
The intake isn't available right now, so try not to give them "RPM" asses any money, because you will NOT be getting an intake. It's still not available. I know because I've spoke with Professional Products about this intake. They expect it to come out Mid to Late June, MAYBE. they are late getting it out. Also in regards to limiters, unless you have a tuner capable of adjusting that, no you won't get the full benefits of the manifold. I on the other hand have mine set at 6400. I'm not so much buying it for the power, but the looks since I show my car. Anywho, just my $649.95 cents.

I know what our engines top out at.. I was just disregarding that - if you read some tech on cams they say that much to, even though our engines don't really do that. and FYI it's out of the same thing my accufab tb/plenum is out of... aluminum. I am just wondering if these would add any real power. I am trying to search for some other posts, but haven't found any yet.

ahh good.. Yeah i've had a bad experiance with them as well... but i did get a free upgrade on my tb/plenum combo . The edlebrock ones have any reasonable gains though? and yes I have a tuner also that removed my revlimiter, but i'd never run my rev that high anyway. I normally shift it at 5500-5600 rpms when im moving..

I actually talked with the Edlebrock peeps at the World Ford Challenge last month and they have that manifold. I can't remember the numbers. I'll have to look for the info again. I'll post when I find it. Should be less than 5 minutes, stayed tuned!
