Fill your tank all the way.

Reset your tripmeter.

Drive your car till you start to get low on gas.

Fill it up.

Record the number of gallons it took to fill it up.

Read your tripmeter and divide that number by the number of gallons from the previous step.

That's your miles per gallon.

I suppose it could increase your MPG a bit simply because it is less restrictive than the stock intake tube. That, coupled with a high-flow air filter is a definite improvement. A drop in K&N with the silencer removed is an improvement as well. I guess it really depends on how much money you want to spend.
