Default What is the PCM????

I know what PCM stands for, but can someone give me a run down on what exactly it is, how it works and what its wired to? I dont know sh*t about cars' electronics....

Basically it is the Brain of your car. All the little sensors are wired into it. The PCM takes the info it gets from them and tells your engine or transmission to do something according to it's preset parameters.
For example if you have a bad crank sensor your car will not run because the PCM has no idea where the engine is in it revolutions so it tells the ignition coils not to send spark to the spark plugs. and your car will turn over all day but not start.
