i have a 96 gt and still the stock exhaust and for now i want to get rid of all those converters. has anyone ever had any problems with taking the converters out and leaving just one on each side without installing mil eliminators?

You wont need mils either.

Or if you can get away with an o/r midpipe, buy one... Don't try hacking up the stock unit because changing the midpipe will get you better gains.

It will be a PITA and it will leak, and it will sound bad. Get a new midpipe instead.
