whatever you do make sure your there that full hour checkin up on the car and how the tint is coming out. 99% of the time they overlook spots that need to be pressed down some more. its happened to me and all of my friends since high school. i dont know if its the cali labor, but its usually really messed up after they finsh the tint

even though my car is a convertible, the 5% tint was the best decision ive ever made. No one can see in unless its sunny as hell, and its barely visible at that. I was quoted 225 for rear window, the two small ones, the two passengers, and the strip across the windshield. It costed me 200 even, and almost all of them have at least a 5 yr warranty against peeling/bubbling. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. Get the 5% and never look back.

true because I had to take mine back twice (in NC) because the back window looked like ***
ended up changing the way they did it. They stopped the tint 4" from the top because it kept pealing

I have chrome tint, but it's very minor, side and rear windows. I think it looks pretty good... Check my photobucket for pictures, there's LOTS.

Edit: If you're getting it real dark, go with black.
