RE: Getting tinted tomorrow
Shadowdrake's looks badass...but I wouldn't take my chances. The chrome would have to be just right to look good, the black is pretty much a safe bet- that is as long as it is installed right. Get black, definitely. I'd say 20-25%, is what I plan on doing all the way around.

ive had 5% on my last 3 cars. its the only way to go. ive gotten warnings from the cops but no tickets.
it takes some getting used to when driving at night but youll love it.
privacy rocks and the A/C is just so much more effective without all that sunlight comin in

I'm going with 30% all the way around. I don't know what you guys pay, but damn. I got my tint done on my DD and got a great deal 120 bucks and a life time warrant, but that was a major deal because they were auctioning the tint at a strip club. So i bet and won 70 bucks then a additional 50 for the lifeteam warranty.

i love mine...its 15% all around...although when i got the ticket i have for it...the meter thing the cop used came out as .11 sooo 11%...either way looks spectacular.
it was $135 with a lifetime warranty. any cracking, bubbling, fading, or anything...just bring it back and get it fixed for free.

A normal window has some tint to it since they started adding that film that keeps it from shattering and it reflects about 50-60%
Also the stripe at the top of your window is normally 30-35%.
Maybe you mean that it can reflect up to 70% of the light, meaning that it can be up to 30% window film, now that sounds about right
