I would say go with the Cobra. I think that when you buy a fox, you are taking a slight risk. I think that because you never know who put that supercharger on, if it was tuned right, or what kind of condition that internals are in since it is at least 13 years old. The is a lot newer, so again less mantinence problems. Another thing is that it comes stock with a supercharger, which would mean that it is done right and already has a tune set up for that application. Anyway, I would say go with the COBRA.

nah screw ford all togeather. Just go with a 3rd gen maro. bore and stroke a 350 4 bolt 2 barrel carb, performance heads( ALL THE POWER IS IN THOSE HEADS), pistons, rods, etc., old school 3.73, 3 speed built trans, BALANCED( itll run about 2 grand but worth it) crank, 500+ cam, you see 600+ horses pretty easy all motor.

[sm=joke.gif] guys, that's what we have to play with the vettes around here that think there bad, but i still have my 99 stang as a DD and i love it, but yea anyways back on subject, IMO I'd go with the cobra hands downs. ( plus just not a big fan of the fox at all)

friggen fiberglass looks like crap after too many close calls with curbs etc. + the fact that there arent any new ones to catch your eye

Um i love stang but DO NOT start hating on my beloved maro's. From what i recal those "old" maras that came out 4 years ago in 02 can STILL put a whoopin on 06 stangs that are FOUR years newer[8D]

Oh and for you guys that only know bolt ons and don't really know anything about true drag times and real motors. Those Ls1's that ya are so impressed by are turds compared to an old school 350 big block that is capable of up to 1000 hp when properly assembled with the right parts and by a good mechanic.

No prob man i understand, wasn't trying to be an *** or anything, My vote is all for the cobra. I just wanted to inform him that (since he said it was not a DD and it was just for speed) if he truely just wanted a car to go as fast as possible then an old maro is a perfect choice to see single digit 1/4 mile times.
