Default my new idea

i posted yesterday about my tranyy/ clutch problems and i was looking at spending a good chunck of chage, that i dont really have right now. so im looking at getting a rebuild to everything stock and selling the car and looking at getting a 99 or 00, what do yall think about this idea

If you can get away with it and afford it its a great idea.

On the other hand, if you already did the clutch/TKO/etc etc, thats a pretty good base. If you could afford to do that and a PI engine swap....

well i would be getting a loan to get the new car, but i know a guy who can give me a rebuild for pretty cheap, so i was thinking about just trying to find one with low miles that was taken real good care of.

Sounds like its a much better deal.

If you kept your stock H you might even be able to use it on your new car. The CAI too (maybe)

is there any diff really in a 99 vs an 01 i know they have a diff hood but what about the engine and performance wise?

The 99-00's have the windsor motor I believe, and the 01's have a romeo. I may be mistaken though.
