I'm looking for suggestions for what kind of hood, front bumper, and I'm also wanting to put flowmaster mufflers on but I don't know what size I should get and what series of flow's..I don't know if I need the 2 1/2 or 2 1/4?! I now have a bassani off road x pipe.. Any comments I would appreciate.

2 1/2" is what you need.

I'd go with another stock hood & front bumper. Body kits look awful.

NO WAY!!! Dont be a "POSER" Go with the stock stuff. Me and every one of the guys here I know that drives stangs make so much fun of guys that dress up their V6's or GT's to look like Cobras and all. I think its pathetic. Save your money and get the real thing!!! Till then and for now drive what you bought and dont be a faker!

Besides if you dress it up like a Cobra and get smoked by some little ricer he will brag that much harder. Really pathetic if you ask me!

I appreciate telling me I need the 2 1/2 mufflers..Yeah I see what y guys are saying about body kits, hoods, etc..Just curious to see what other people's feedbacks were on it.. Do you guys like the sound of magnaflow or flowmaster with use of Bassani off road xpipe? Also, on my x-pipe since I've put it on I've noticed a noise it kinda sounds like it might nothave been tightened down all the way or something..It's like a rattle but not really, when I accelerate? I'm thinking it might just be because I have stock mufflers on it with the xpipe..Thanks..!

Default Bassani Off Road X-PIPE Question

I recently bought a Bassani x-pipe and since I've put it on I've noticed a noise it kinda sounds like it might not have been tightened down all the way or something..It's like a rattle but not really, when I accelerate? I'm thinking it might just be because I have stock mufflers on it with the xpipe..Any suggestions..Also what mufflers should I throw on?!

Thats the way it sounds. Every one I know that runs a Bassani Xpipe, including myself has that sound. Have no worries. There isnt a bolt loose. Let someone drive your car down the street while you listen and it wont sound the same as from the inside. It sounds so much better. You can never get the true sound of your ride from the inside of the car. Try it and see what I mean.

I have a Bassani pipe and it made the same noise- look at the X where the Bassani tag is- 3 out of 4 welds were loose and the tag was rattling on mine. Check yours
