Yep, he's starting to annoy me as well. Just because you get a turbo in no way makes you a ricer, I for one think the blow off valve sounds pretty sweet. Maybe I should define ricer in loose terms. Ricer- Male or Female usually between the ages of 16 and 25 who has seen and loves the Fast & Furious 1&2. They upgrade there cars to "LOOK" fast most commonly with; Stickers, Terrible sounding exhaust with 8" tip, Racing seats with 5 point harness, Huge aluminum wings, neon light on underside usually blinking, cut springs so there car scrapes the ground whenever they hit a pebble, type R & Vtec badges, ground effects kits which seem to not require painting to look good...etc. I must inform you that 95% of ricers have absolutely nothing done to the engine beside maybe just mabe a CAI which I'm sure most claim ads 25hp. I'd love to get a twin turbo kit for my stang and hope to purchase one after I've pretty much replaced all my stock internals.

listen if you want the Kb then get it. but i personally have read a lot of threads that were neg about the company overall support. now you might see a lot of cobra's upgrading to a kb due it is the easy way to upgrade from there factory install root supercharger.
ok a wastegates regulates boost, when your turbine is spinning it reaches XX amount of boost when it does that, a little flapper door inside of your turbo opens up and releases that excess boost into the atmosphere or back into the turbo (however you have it setup). IF you have no wastegate, then the turbine will build as much boost as it wants... now a BOV protects your turbo from back pressure in the intake piping due to sudden downspool or release of the throttle. the BOV is closed when boost is on because there is no vacuum. but when you let off the gas and vacumm builds... the BOV opens and the excess air is pushed out resulting in a PSHHHHH... so you NEED both of them, so you can go with wastegate and a blow off valve (loud) or a wastegate with and return to turbo wastegate(quieter)
