Default how safe?

How safe do you guys think it would be to buy used PI heads off ebay or from a junkyard?

I thnk the compression or somthing is way differnt so you cant just put PI heads on yr car, its much more then that

me personally wouldnot do it unless you plan on haveing them checked out by machanic and have the money to replace any thing that needs to be replaced

they should bolt right up, just raises your compression ratio

im on a tight budget and im burning oil so i had planned on doing the PI swap to solve the problem, and im trying to figure out how much it will all cost.

im pretty sure its valve seals, but if its a piston ring then it wont.

Arnt you burning oil too monkeydude? What are you planing on doing?

For me

p.i. heads 349x2 plus shooping = 709 bucks
intake was 159 bucks plus shipping 170
heater hose = 28 bucks from ford
heater hose nipple 4.50 from ford
already had gaskets from kit
p.i intake gaskets 35 bucks

and thats it for me
