im getting my bumper back painted today and am going to install it on my 01 gt this weekend.do they pretty much fit right on? How about fog light wiring? is it plug and go? anything else i should know about the install?

It should fit perfect/near perfect. The fog light wiring shouldn't be too bad at all.

The bumper fits on the car as the stock cover does.
You will have to make an adjustment to the top pieces surrounding the headlights.
By adjust, I mean move back about an inch or so, so that the stock hood does not rub on it.

Driving lights require a new connector, because of the different bulb.

I thought the GT hood didn't line up with a cobra bumper? Nevermind....I'm assuming it isn't a bumper from an actual cobra...prob one off a site.

If i have to get an OEM new rear bumper, and i have it shipped to me painted to match, how hard is it to install?

There's nothing wrong with a cobra bumper on a GT, as long as he doesn't try to make his car out to be a Cobra. I think the 03/04 cobra front bumper is a really nice addition to 99-04 GTs. Buuuuut, if I had a new edge, I would get the FT-402 bumper in a heartbeat.

Do you know where the Ft-402 bumper is sold? I've seen it, and i think it looks really good, but i cant find it anywhere. Also, anybody know about the rear bumper question i asked a couple posts ago? Sorry, didnt mean to jack ur thread
