Default 4.6 PI HEAD SWAP

ANYONE THAT HAS DONE THIS PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INFO...I COULD REALLY USE THE HELP WITH THE TIMING SO I DONT MESS IT UP.THANKS

Remember to use 93 octane gas afterward because your compression ratio will be around 10.5:1 afterward.

I THINK THERE IS A STICKY ON THE PI SWAP BUT ITS PRETTY SELF EXPLAINITORY. YOU REPLACE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD AND THATS EASY , PRETTY MUCH IF YOU HAVE A WRENCH YOU CAN DO THIS.

wow interesting posts so far.

Well anways do you have a romeo or a windser block the reason i ask is if you have a romeo block like me then your valve covers won't work with windsor heads or vise vurses. But its a pretty simple project. just replace the head gaskets, the head bolts, if you get the head new remember to plug a couple of the holes with plugs off your old head. remeber you will need a 99+ heater hose and nipple so you will need to remove your water pump to get the nipple out.
other than that 10.2 compression for me and get your car retuned it's not nessecary but it helps.
