Default new motor?

hey you all, here is a question for ya, i just bought a 04 mach 1, would you guys stick with the 4.6 l that is in it, or would you guys put a big *** new motor in it before i even start to do anything? i m going to make this car as fast as i can so you can go by that. what would be the biggest motor or the best motor to put in this car? and if you guys had any prices i would lso appreciate it. or should i stroke the motor? how mcyh could i get for my motor? its has 4000 miles on it. i want everyones opinion, whoever reads this post please give me ur opinions. thnks you all

well it sounds like you want to build a race car!!. If I was you and I had the money I would probably trade the mach 1 in for a 04 Cobra.. It has a engine designed to resist a supercharger so it would be a lot easier and cheaper to modify. But if you really want to keep the mach I would probably get a stroker kit with forged internals + a supercharger.. this combo will smoke stock 04 cobras , Corvettes and 911's.. just my opinion good luck!

keep the mach, and put a 5.4 navigator motor with forged internals in it, and twin turbo it...nobody will beat you, assuming you do things right

the navigator motor is a 5.4l 4v 4 cam motor...it can even be stroked...my friend is in the process of building his 96 cobra with a navy motor...twin turbo it will be putting over 1000hp to the tires

it would be pointless to swap a stock navigator motor in your car...how much hp are you looking to get?

u find a motor from a navigator...put forged internals in it, do intake/head work, twin turbo, get a supportive fuel system, now uve got 1000hp....lol....your motor will also do great under boost as well
