RE: salvaged cobra?
Once the car is completely fixed some states require a complete test of the car. It has to be proven that the car is once again road worthy. A big risk with a salvage title. You also have to check on your insurance. Some companies do not insure salvage vehicles.

RE: salvaged cobra?
Get that price down a little, make sure the car is repaired well and PLEASE CONSIDER if you'll ever be selling or trading it in, otherwise you'll lose your *** on the deal until going to a used car lot and finding an 03/04 isn't an option anymore.
Take the car for a test drive, drive it hard as hell. Bomb around some corners also...any problems will most likely surface.

RE: salvaged cobra?
there are plenty of used 03/04 cobras around.
I wouldn't buy salvaged anything unless I knew it was in spectacular condition and I was gonna mod it so heavily that the re-sale value wasn't a consideration anymore.
