clutch problems, help

what is a throw out bearing and is the part expensive?!? instalation hard? expensive?

a throw out bearing rides on the presure plate and is what engages your clutch... you need to remove the tranny to replace it so think about replacing your entire clutch while your doin it...

the throw out bearing is 38 bucks at ford or so. replaced mine last month because it had been making noise, and i had pulled the tranny because I had to rebuild it
