Default Hypertech tuner

I ve been reading some of the peoples comments on here about tuners.

and does anyone like the hypertech tuner???

Im not lookin for breakneck speed, its just my wifes 03 gt convertable, that i'm just doin a couple things to, I got a CAI and a magnaflow magnapack system on the way, and i ordered a hypertech too...

I'm prolly not gonna be racing it or anything, thats for my 06 gto I just wanted a lil more power outta the stang for everyday..

So does anyone like theirs, or shood i just post it on ebay and buy onea the other ones

I'd gladly sell you mine. [sm=devilangel.gif]

Even at 5200 feet, I would have to run octane boost with the premium fuel to keep from pinging in the summer. In the winter, the gains are too small to calculate. Their only use would be for gearing and/or tire size changes and shift firmness of an auto (don't have).

I also tried the 180* thermostat with the tuner and it only drank more gas with no rewards.[:@]

Well see Her car is an automatic, and i orginally wanted to order a B&M shift plus, but then i discovered it wouldn't work, so onea the main reasons was the shift firmness

I tried one... there wasn't a noticable difference in anything.. I would go with an SCT or a Diablo, with them you can actually change things.

Hypertechs do help 03 04 cobra's though... they'll dyno at like 30 more hp.. too bad i didnt have a cobra to put it on
