Default Hey there fellas

Ok well I am looking to selling the old 5.0 and getting a 99+ 4.6 My question is what kind of problems are you guys getting from these cars and are there any recalls to watch out for. I need something more reliable since college and work dont allow me to work on the stang like I should. But I am not leaving the stang family anytime soon. I really dont hang in this section often (once every two months at most) so i have no idea what your guy's problems are(with the cars, not personal) so please dont flame. Thanks in advance.

I haven't had a single problem with mine at 55,000 miles.

I threw an 02 sensor DTC, but it turned out to be nothing so far.

there is some crap about an intake manifold, but I know my year didn't have the problems. most of the issues with these cars were fixed in the 02-04 cars.

the intake problem was from 96-98 only i think. the 99 &up have aluminum bracing to help to prevent flexing and cracking... that was the only problem that i have had w/my 98 gt 74,000 miles on it. (other than needing more power) which has been addressed.

No problems (so far) with my 04. I hear alot about the TR3650 trans is a POS, but no problems as of yet.
Also something with creaking in the front end. (Bushings)
Other than that, I haven`t heard of any other major issues. If there are, someone please chime in because I would really like to know.
