The thing is Im not spinning off the line, I drop the pressure in my tires and launch from idle. What would be the best RPM to launch? I tried to launch from 2K but spun through first and second (almost lost to a Dakota RT). is feathering the clutch bad for it? I feel so lost at the strip.
Your 60 foot is over 2.4 seconds. You are spinning or you are leaving first gear so incredibly slow it's laughable.

sry i got a 01 msuatng gt now i forgot to update my user name but dr's whats the diff between them and reg tires and why run faster
You have a 2001 Mustang GT and you need mods to run 13's...No you need to learn how to drive that thing.. You can get 13's out of a 99+ GT in stock form, you need to learn how to minimize wheel spin.....That's your enemy.

Yea right man, he had a 2.1 60' and ran 14.4. Maybe 1 out of every 10,000 Mustangs go 13's stock, STOCK. I just don't see a stock GT running much lower than a 2.0 60' time w/o sticky tires, which means no longer stock.

He's hitting 2.1 on stock tires, that's a pretty decent driver.

Wonder what altitude he's at?

94Mustang2003 is losing most of it at the end of his run.

I had a 2.6 60 foot before and my 1/8th mile speed was 78.23 mph, looks like he needs to get alittle faster with his shifts or experiment with his shift points.

I have a 2003 Gt and ran a 2.0s 60ft gt time on stock Goodyears, but I only came up with a 14.2 at 97.51.
