exactly... depends on the setup. every vehicle has the exhaust that sounds best on it

glasspacks can sound great or bad

dont ever run glasspacks. no matter what car they are on they always sound like crap.
I dont know about that, my 99 dodge ram sounded pretty mean with glasspacks [sm=icon_rock.gif]
I wouldnt personally put it on a mustang unless I heard it first. Pushrod motors tend to be a little more glasspack friendly.

If you do go with them look into Walker, a little less poppy

glasspacks suck. my friend has him on his mustang after like 4 months they like broke or something cuz it went from loud to sounding like a lawn mower.

Glass packs on a mustang make the mustang sound like it is in a permanent wind tunnel. They sound really hollow. but they are a cheap upgrade over stock mufflers

i know its not a mustang but it is the same motor. anyways my t-bird has 2 hi-flow cats and a single dynomax race bullett which is essentially a glasspack, midmounted splitting into dual at the back with no other muffs. Its real loud and I get compliments all the time. its got a real deep muscular sound. Just my 2 cents.
