Default DO I NEED A TUNE ?

I was wondering if i need a tune on my 04gt now that i have these mods. magnaflow cat back, c&l 85mm mas air kit, steeda pulleys. what im worried about is detonation i dont want it to happen and i dont wanna even get close to it happening. ive been looking into the diablo sport predator and the thing seems really cool. www.diablosport.com does any one have one and can a moderatlly car experienced person work one of these with out blowin the car up lol. diablo has custom tunes for it but im not sure how much they cost. but whats really cool diablo sends downloads to u and u install the tune right into the programmer then into the car. i know that these mods wont make me detonate but i have plans in the future for more and i just wanna know what u guys think about the predator and if u guys think its a good deal and can i use the thing with little knowledge on fuel curves and timming.

You don't need a tune right now with the Mods you have, just like I have for mine but you do need that X-pipe...Do your homework on the diablo tuner for the future after the X pipe.

Also, you didn't install the 85mm C&L yet, right??

No, you don't need a tune. it'd be a waste to get one so soon into your modding journey. Once you start running headers, an o/r mid-pipe, m.a.m's being the most common yea, a tune would be warranted, but don't worry yet. I'd recammend purchasing EVERYTHING you plan on installing on your car 1st, INSTALL IT, then get a custom dyno tune. It'd be a good idea to go get couple stock pulls now, so that you can see where you are now, & how your mods will take you.
