some quick pointers on launching
hey guys im running my car for the first time tonight. Any pointers on teh best launch? I really havn't practiced much but what works for you guys? btw it's a pretty much stock gt what do they usually run?

auto or manual.
manual rev to about 2400 and slip the clutch out and then get on it. or go from idle.
auto you can hold the brakes and slighly hold the gas. let of the brake and then get on it. od off, and just leave in drive.
for a burnout, just spin your tires, dont even worry about holding the brakes, just needs alittle spin

unless you have a really powerful motor with good supension, i would reccemond staging shalow and leaving at the last yellow.because by the time that you react and your car reacts it will be green. when i did it i get a .199 reaction time but when i left a tthe green my best reaction time was .7xx. it will feelwierd at first but try it.

I am running for the first time tonight too... Its 76 F here with 27% humitity at 3438 Feet. Any ideas what my car should run? Its a 2002 GT 5 speed coupe.
