Got the SLP LM1 installed today for $150.. Sounds freaking great. But not exactly as loud as I'd wanted.. What else can be done to increase the flow and noise a little? A Mid-Pipe? If so, which one? It MUST be catted and NY IS an emissions state.

X or H Pipe?

Ive got offroad x pipe and flowmasters.... get some MILS the eliminators around 70 bucks keep the check engine light off too. As long as they don't look they wont know you dont have cats... sounds great ...... downshifting not so loud no back pressure.......

Keep your original H pipe its all bolt on option if you want when emissions come ... just re bolt cats back up

Oh wait a second.. The car is an '03.. They only scan the computer right? No emissions dynos? Nice! Then I can just get an Offroad middy and some Mils..

Now to the main question.. X or H ? By the way, this is bolting up to stock exhaust manifolds..

x if you want it to be loud........ higher tone ---H softer and deeper...... x sounds great when your under a bridge or driving beside another vehicle........

Does the 2003 require the o2 extension things for the midpipe? Some sites say 03-04 and most say only 04 need them..
