You guys are gonna hate me!!
Hey what's up guys.
I have somewhat of a dilemma. I am looking into modding my car, however after all the mods that I put in place I would have probably spent 50k (Canadian) on the car in total. I am trying to get a goal of 500hp, a local shop in Calgary is going to do all tunning, block, and supercharger install for me.
My problem is.....Should I go through wtih modding my GT, take my licks buy a cobra and mod that...OOOORRRRR buy a used Dodge viper for the same total price?? With the viper I won't have to do anything to it and I will already have a 500hp car and something a little different. I still owe 20k on the car.

I'd just get a nice Vette or Supra instead..but that's just me.

Naw insurance isn't bad. On a 2001 viper priced at 54k it is 2700/yr. So I am not that worried. And that is full coverage. My gt is 1150/yr full coverage.

Dude you would increase your insurance by almost 150% and you think that's not bad? All for a car that you wouldn't want to drive everyday.
