3" or 2.5" cat back system?
Question on catbacks....
Does a MAC 3" catback system hook up to the stock cats? or will I need to change them as well.....(not that I shouldn't)....
Also, is there a huge difference between the 2.5 and 3 inch systems....other than the obvious?

Unless you're running some serious FI, don't get a 3 inch setup. It will virturally eliminate all back pressure and you're hemorrage torque with it. 2.5 inch is what you need.

also i had a question as well, with a bassani catted x with slp lm1's,im thinking about going with shorty headers, and just wondering will all this help with the horsepower or hurt it from not enough back pressure.
You will gain HP, but shorties give minimum power compared to long tubes. If you do not want to eventually switch to long tubes and a shorty mid pipe, then shorty headers would be better then nothing.
