In second gear at the redline you should be running about 70-75.......if your running 90-94 then you need to get your indicator checked....

70 to 75??? I redlined mine out in second yesterday just to see what it says for this article and all I can do is 60 to 63 mph. Where do you guys get anything over that unless you're running like a 3.08 rearend?

You bout right Dub 6, I tried my 97 stang this morning and got between 70-75 in second gear. And I was a few ticks from red line before I got off it...

Interesting...

Did you ever get to the bottom of this deal?

Mine is a stock 03 GT and it will do 90 - 95 KPH in second around redline. I can't see anything with a 5 spd. doing 90 - 95 MPH in second. My 80 Z28 with 3 speed auto and 4.11:1 rear end used to do it. Sucked on the hwy but it would rip in the quarter. Caught fire and burnt to the ground in 02 when the fuel pump let go on the headers. Exhaust is still all good though

FYI - I'm in Canada and we also have MPH on the inside of the speedo...so you get to see both. Odometer is only in Km though.

No offense but are you SURE it isn't a Canadian car? The numbers are so close that it makes me wonder.
