I have a MAC CAI, it also stays cool to the touch. The air moves so fast through the intake, that it's not going to change the temperature of the air anything significant. Read up on those. It's been proven 1000 times.

The Plastic K&N one still draws air from under the hood. The air is HOT under there. Get on that sticks through the fender.
i have the mac cai too, and i am telling you that my intake was ten times hotter than this PLASTIC(PVC PIPPING). my car had been off for at least 30 min and he did four back to back pulls, mine still being as hot as it was when the car was running, his not even feeling warm at all. just stating what i saw and experienced in person.

I believe that it's hotter, but I don't think that it would really change the temperature of the air.

I have the Densecahrger and it never even gets considerably warm. Let us know what the dyno shows, hell... I might even switch.

it caught my interest when i saw the gains on the cobra. every cobra enthusiest(sp) doubted he made over 20rwhp with his intake and he did. people actually showed up at the dyno to watch it with their own eyes. thats why i am real curious to see what it does for us 2V guys. granted the GT will not gain as much as the cobra did, but as much as the cobra gained i would think it will do the same with a GT. all the test cars so far have been nearly stock if not completly stock. we'll see... will keep you guys updated

Well that doesnt make sense because the Densecharger creates 25 rwhp for the Cobra. Something dont sound right.

it doesn't say anywhere what kind of setup is was tested on though. if its stock, then that is pretty impressive. as you already know, different setups will have different reactions to the CAI. i am not trying to promote anything either... just trying to find something out there that will get me more horses.
