Default interior lights

Hey all. My problem is this: my interior lights (the two lights attached to the rearview mirror) are stuck on, and I can't figure out why. All the doors are closed, the keys are out of the ignition. I played around with the switches for each light, and regardless of what position they were in the lights stayed on. If it helps, I have a 1999 GT convertible 5 spd with 34000 miles. I have the car for about two and a half months, so I am not the original owner. This problem just started today. What gives? Thanks for any feedback.
