if i put in 93 octane or octane booster in my car will it help my car if it is running lean

If your engine is simply not getting enough fuel, higher octane gasoline will not do a damn thing.

Have the timing retarded a few degree's and driver her like a baby if you absolutely must, or have it fixed the right way...

No. If anything you should run 87 until you get a Dynotune, because running 93 on a stock GT can cause for some pretty hard starts. It did with mine. I ran 93 for 6mths when it was stock, & it ran surprisingly better w/87 in it until I had it tuned.

dynotune,dynotune, dynotune.... they can fix your a/f's in a minute. then you have no more worries about running lean....
