I know that I can get stage 1 cams, but what if the cams dont have a stage? I looked on summit for some and I have no idea what lift or anything I should be looking for. I just want to replace the stock cams and nothing else. Which cams should I be looking for?

two of the comp cams that are listed on summit i listed. Just basicly went to vt engines and found the ones that didnt need anything besides the cams
also the crower stage 1's

Start going much more you will need some springs. and some other supporting mods will be needed

 

I think stage 1 cams would complete the sound I'm looking for. I was wondering how much they affect gas mileage though. I dont really want to build my car for track use, just for street.
