I think stage 1 cams would complete the sound I'm looking for. I was wondering how much they affect gas mileage though. I dont really want to build my car for track use, just for street.
I have vt stage 1s, and they dont bump a whole lot, maybe your exhaust will bring them out more. I think the only way things affect your mileage is when you mash teh throttle. To get the use from teh cams, you will mash the throttle and have to rev it a bit more, i see a difference from 3K and up. I am like doughboy, added a vortech and ran over 426rwhp.
