Default NOS or Supercharger?

I have a 2003 gt and i want it to haul, I want to add a big power adder but im up in the air about it, i dont know whether to go with nitrous oxide or a supercharger, one i can turn the nitrous on and off but i dont want to
keep re-filling the bottle and my car is a daily driver and i want it to last, i heard on a supercharged engine if you dont lower the compression the motor will run like crap and the engine life get reduced alot, Any help
would be great

your engine life will be reduced faster with nitrous than with a supercharger. If you have the money to get a supercharger than do it. Your car isnt going to run bad with it. Get a procharger intercooled. If you dont nearly have enough money then get the nitrous. The nitrous is 500 the suergharger is 4000.

NOS is cheaper. But a supercharger is a supercharger. If you can afford it, definitely go with the supercharger.

Nitrous gives you on demand power, you can go just as fast from using it to not using it, which means less fuel consumption overall by far. Supercharging does give you power all the time but it will wear out your motor quick if you run alot of boost. And the gas mileage sucks.

centrifugal superchargers wont really kill your gas mileage i believe. cuz they arent really using any extra fuel until youre making boost...which youre not doing under normanl driving conditions. which is also less wear of the engine. id go with a centrifugal supercharger.

I would go with NOS.. then again that is a personal opinion because I run it on my car.. It is power on demand like said above. My car is a daily driver so i didnt want to have constant boost on my motor all day everyday.. And the way gas price are now i would imagine it would kill you having to keep gas in your car.. because i have to run 93 octane as it is and my gears suck gas as well.. NOS IMO. If you do go with a kit, I would get the 4.6 plate system from NX [sm=massbounce.gif]
