This has been cleaned several times but Its time again what have you guys found to be the most effective??? How do you go about doing it? Pics would be great...

i just rinse mine out real good with brake cleaner and it's good as new

yup, hold it at various angles and drench it in the fluid, and you will see it come out black and just keep switching angles and spraying it until the fluid comes out pretty clear

because i had a buddy do it the first time when i really didnt know much about my car.. and then I did it but im not sure if its the exact part i need to be cleaning beacuse it keeps doing it...

it mounts with 2 bolts on the front of the throttle body/plenum and has a tube going to your intake tube

yeah.. so i clean that whole piece with sensor still attached and all???? do yall clean the tube coming out of the intake as welll??

our iac is not servicable, cleaning it can help, but its one of those, when it goes it goes.

yes you can clean it! If carbon buildup is causing the problem, cleaning it will fix it. If it has a damaged spring or electrical problems, of course cleaning will not do anything.

yeah.. its already been replaced before though.. so i think it just needs a good little cleaning.. my baby needs a good bath anyway.. Im still working on the starter. [&o]
