My speedo is off by about 5mph. If I am going 60mph, it shows 65 on the speedo.

About how much would it cost to get this thing recalibrated and where should I go to get this done? The dealer or something? A rough estimate would be great.

I second the tuner idea... i have an excalibrator 2 and it saved my *** a few times

I "Think" I read somewhere on here a little while ago someone posted that if you did NOT want to get the tuner, you can have it done for about $100 dollars.

Sorry as I forget where... Not much help I know, but I do remember there is another way other than dropping $400 for a tuner.

Why is your speedo off that much? Did you get new gears? If so, the place that put them in has to do it, its illegal to have it off by anything.

I bought the car not too long ago at an auction without being able to see and I havent checked if the gears have been changed. I'm checking that next week.

Ok if I get a handheld tuner, will I have to start using 93 Octane?

If its only 5mph off or so, it's probably the tires. I know the differance between stock gears and 3.73 was more then 5 mph

you can get little plastic gears for like 5$ that will fix it sorry but I dont have a link!
