Default engine swaps?

i know that cobra motors and mach 1 motors are better than GT motors so what motors can i swap and bolt up in a GT?

im still searching for a inexpensive way to get 600hp and buying a DSS block is an option but could i just get the motor out of a junked car? like a certain year cobra or something?

Inexpensive 600hp? You're kidding right?

you can always buy an rb25 and crank up the boost and get some rikidy azz 240sx for $800 and swap it into that. run 11s for "cheap"

There is no such thing as a cheap 600hp car.Minimum requirements would be 4k for a forged shortblock, 2.5-4k for a new tranny, clutch and flywheel, 2-8k for a power adder, 1+k for an upgraded fuel system, 400 bucks for a tune. Plus once you do this work, you are going to have to upgrade the suspension if you wanna do anything but spin tire. Look at my sig bud, the numbers I gave you are very conservative.

you can swap a cobra motor in but your gonna need a cobra computer because the cobras have knock sensors and 4 cam positionng sensors instead of 2 but it can be done

your best bet would be to get a mark VIII motor and put 99 cobra heads and intake on it

I have been looking for a Mark 8 motor anyway... But I have been looking for the wiring harness to. Because I knew about the knock sensor. But what are you saying? I could use the GT wiring harness and just splice that sensor in some how? Thats the hardest part finding that wiring harness... You can find mark 8 motors for as cheap as $100 to $1200
