Default X-Pipe with Stock Catback

Is there any difficulty in installing a catted x-pipe onto the stock exhaust?

I've got a line on a really cheap one, but won't be able to buy a catback for a few months.

So, just want to know what cutting, welding, ect. will be required....

Thanks,
Vince

Do you know what kind of x-pipe this is? That will really determine what has to be done. My x-pipe was bolted in, while i can only think of a couple that need to be welded. it was only $100 for mine to be installed, but i think that you can do it on your own. I believe the stock h is bolted in.

what is the diameter of the tubing? I believe the stock cat back is 2.25" and most aftermarket items are 2.5".
