Hey guys! Can you help me out? ok dumb question: when you get your car dyno tuned what exactly are you getting out of it? I got a diablosport chip put in and the guy kept saying to bring it in and get it dyno tuned. sorry for the ignorance!

 

best performance if you have any mods... do it.

 

right now here is what i got: mac cold air kit, full exhaust w/flows, 3.73's, diablosport chip, what will it do for me to get dyno tuned? more power? i guess i just don't understand what i will get out of doing this or what it will do for the car. thanks guys!

 

Honestly, with your mods its not worth spending the money yet. Once you start to get more and more mods... Full bolt-ons, or Heads/Cams, things like that... They will be able to "tune" your car and get some more rwhp out of it.

A dyno tune at any point in time can't hurt, it can only help, but with your mods, I would wait until you get some more before getting a dyno tune.

Basically what they do is "tune" the car to get everything working even better together, better flowing, etc. And with that they can pull some more HP/TQ out of the car for you.

 

getting a dyno tune would just be a waist of money, you dont have enough mods to need a tune yet.
