Well, if you want to use NOS, get a '99. If you are gonna s/c it get a 2001+

The '99 was the first year of the PI head I thought? If I'm right, then the compression should be about the same as the '04, or 8.5 if memory serves.

the trannys have synchro problems but that's with all of them 99-04... T45 and the 3650, I believe the actual gearing in the tranny is differant between the two... not sure how big of a differance, but there is one... there is a TSB for the synchros though...

hey man, how do you like your 3.90s? how fast can you go in 4th gear?
