Default another cam question....

ok... well im getting ready to build a motor for my stang and im wondering about cam profile.... i dont know how rough of cam i want. this motor is going to have forged internals, maybe even billet rods, so it will be able to go over 7000 rpms. and i want to have very good mid and top end power... i dont really need to to much low end cause of already having traction problems but i dont want the car to have trouble running or having bad brake vaccum at idle. i want the cam to sound like its there too... i was looking into the VT cams. would something like a stage 2 blower cam or a stage 3 suit me better? oh, im looking to have between 650-750hp....

Default RE: another cam question....

Based on what you're saying about wanting the power up top, I'd go with some variant of the stage 3 blower cams. Code3gt had custom grinds by vt for his application. You can always explain what you're looking for and they can recommend a set or custom grind a set.
