whos thinking about getting saleen s/c?
Ive been thinking about it for the last 4 days now. Doing lots of net research. For those of you who are getting one , will you be installing it yourself? I wonder how difficult it actually is. If I get one Ill be trying it out myself. And what exactl is a computer flash? is it a chip?

personally i drove a 99GT with a saleen supercharger on it and not to let anyone down.......i wasnt that impressed. Yes its 3rd gear pulled like 2nd gear in my car but it was still probably only a low 13 or high 12 second car...........i plan on down the road adding a vortech and with the right hook up, going much faster than that......good safe blower kit though , and with saleen its gotta have some quality to it.

I've already bought one incase yall missed out on my long post with the reasons why. But by my calculations I belive 400rwhp is achievable with a 3.00 pulley, full bolt ons, and a real good tune. If it doesn't get there I have a set of Stage II comp cams sitting around that I haven't installed yet because I'm waiting on a set of ported heads but I'm almost positive I can do this. Stay tuned in the near future on this project I'm doing. The final stages should be complete by the spring of 07. Fully built motor with stroker rotating assembly, and a 75 shot of Go baby Go juice.
Remeber on a stock Saleen S281 S/C, the blower was only boosting 4psi and put down 320rwhp. And Stock they have a ****ty lower air intake, stocke 65mm TB, 4 Cats, and not to great of an exhuast. My goal is to boost her to 12psi (3 times as much) and get her as close to 390rwhp as possible, and take the rest of the way with 75mm throttle body, bigger fuel injectors, more breatheable CAI, 90mm MAF, etc, etc.
I also have a meth kit sitting in my garage somewhere....... If for some reason I'm not satisfied, she's going in, along with the Stage II comp cams. But I will keep everyone updated on that.
