Being a race car, the more rubber the better, you think you will have to roll your fenders or anything? What about rubbing the arms? If you can clear it, i would think that would be an advantage. good luck and post some pics if you can wedge em on there.

how many runs do you get outta your tires? laps i mean. 300 seems like a good deal if they lots of life left. I used to buy racing tires from the freedy spencer cycle racing school out here at the racetrack in vegas, they were pretty cheap and only worn on the extreme sides which i never touched on the street. I dont have a problem with getting used tires, some people really look down on it for some reason. If you know what you are doing, i dont see the issue.

do you get steel wheels or will any do?

wow, that much? that seems well worth it. maybe they would wear down more if you drove a little faster, haha.

What kind of suspension work do you have done thus far??

What rims were you thinking of putting those on?? I've read over a thousand times on here that 275's are close, and on some folks cars, they rub..

Will 295s fit on the 9s? I'd worry that they would roll off the wheel on the turns. Besides possibly rolling the fenders, have you thought about removing the plastic inner fender and do you have tubular control arms?
