im pissed but its still pretty quick most of the time quicker than the car that is next to me but it is pretty weak which is why about 2 months ago i stopped dumping money into it and started dumping my money into a terminator fund which i can get in august but i will wait til after winter

when i got my 02, i was the same way. people would ask if it was fast. I had to say honestly that it wasnt, but compared to your average joe schmo car, it is. But there was no way i would consider it fast. Since i put the vortech on it, i would consider it fast but not outrageous by any means. I compare acceleration to the acceleration of when i used to ride sport bikes, that really isnt fair to a car, but that would be really fast imo.

obviously the 3 valve has a advantage over us 2 valvers but we have the advantage right now with all the after market parts . we should be able to smoke those cars

HUH??? Are you serious? Roush and Saleen are all over the new stang. I see parts EVERYWHERE for it. The only advantage we have is that parts are super expensive for them and the older parts are really starting to come down. But it really doesnt matter too much if a chip for a 99 gives the car 15-20 hp and the chip for a 06 gives it like 30. I see 500 hp gt's in the very near future becomming pretty normal.

I'm not pissed. Our cars are still really nice and are quick. To people who aren't used to it, these cars feel like rockets. This is my first car so I'm more than appreciative of it. Although I already have a fund going for my next car. Im almost positive this car is going to remain stock and I'll just baby it.
