Default Another URGENT Question

Im installing the drivers side L/T and the dipstick just has to be in the way. So how is the best way to remove the dipstick???

i thought you had to take out the 4.6 a little ways to get l/t's in there

Yes. The dipstick now is designed to fit under the header. Most aftermarket headers will require you to pull the dipstick out. What you will have to do is under the bolt the holds it down(in the middle of the tube). Next, you want to just pull it out. You may have to pull kind of hard. While it's out be careful because this is a small rubber o ring on the bottom of it and that keeps the seal, so you don't leak oil. Next install the header. After that put the dipstick tube back in through the header. I found it easiest to put it in the middle of all the primaries. Now you'll need to get back under the car and see where the end of the dipstick tube is. When I installed it, I had to bend the tube a bit, to get it to go back into the hold and so the bracket would line up with the hole. Basically that is it.

ITs goin hella slow buts both headers are bolted up. And the top starter bolt needs to be put down all the way.
