what compliments an o/r H?
I am puttin gin my o/r H soon and will be probably very pleased with my weld in flows for a while. But Iw as wondering what cat-back would be good to get eventually, so my whole exhaust is 2 1/2" pipe.
I am debating just getting like an american thunder catback setup but im not sure
checked on mustangexhaust and there are about 3 o/r H clips, 2 with flows and 1 with magnaflow

RE: what compliments an o/r H?
most people with flows and an o/r H love them,,,, so flowmaster is probably a safe choice
magnapacks, LM II's, Stingers (what i have and love), MAC,, in all honesty, im sure there are alot of people who will tell you anything but LM I's... and still, some will say LM I's as well
are you mostly interested in Flows of some sort?

I had a O/R X with flows. now I have a catted H pipe with magnaflows and I like it much better. I wasnt happy with flowmaster at all, but thats just me a lot of people have flowmaster I just think I had either a bad set up or a bad cat back kit.

I love my Flowmasters, and can't wait to put on a good set of headers.. I've tried the Magnaflows, and they were loud. I don't personally care about exhaust sounds, since I know my car is loud regardless.. My neighbors aren't a fan, but they're catching on...
I've heard a lot of exhausts, and it really comes down to the volume, and some of the tone.. Did you just want the aggressive sound, or did you want an all around loud package? As you know already, the resonator type exhausts have that raspy, LOUD sound, which I think is pretty awesome sounding... I always equate Flowmasters to a Mustang, because they seem to make Mustangs sound better than any car out there.. Maybe that's my opinion, but I don't know anyone who associates Flowmaster to F-Body...
Maintaining the H-Pipe is a great idea. X-pipes are great too, but it changes the "Mustang Sound."
