Default cigarrette smell

I just bought a 2001 GT, A/T, Leather, loaded. Just bought the car a month ago. Now I am noticing the smell of cigarette smoke when I first start it up through the dash vents. Any Ideas of how to get rid of the smell?

Thanks,

In Houston the car washes have about a 100 dollar process they do that will clear it up.

replace the cabin filter is one, other may be just taking off the vents and spraying some good lysol or somethin down there, not enough to flood it though, lol.

+1 on that. IMO it seems that a lot of the nicer cars have cabin filters, but thats just me.

I would condition the leather, throw an air freshener on the rear view, put some of those vent air fresheners on all the vents, get some of the spray(that smells like new cars) and put one spray down each vent, and finally I would scrub the carpets with some cleaner. I think that should clear your problem.
